Crossing rt 22 and 78 on a road bike

there's another way... My commute is a little shorter from Maplewood to Kenilworth. I take Vauxhall Rd over 78 (the only real sketchy part at rush hour) and make my way past Union HS to the footbridge over 22 just east of PC Richards. Once you cross 22, the route is super chill along the golf course then through Lenape Park and linking up to Nomahegan all on the East Coast Greenway. After that you're on your own with the cars into Westfield.
