cracked rim options?

first, is this repairable at all or is this rim toast? my guess is toast...

second, trying to think of options for replacement. these are shimano aluminum rims on a 2012 trek madone 5.2 that i bought used several years ago, currently running shimano 10 speed

the frame is in perfectly decent shape

so, a new wheel set might be just the trick

Is that a rear wheel? If so, just ride it til it actually breaks as there is limited risk of crashing.

Should be lots of options for a black rim brake wheel.

My best guess would be that if the rear fails you fall on your arse, if the front fails you fall on your face...

Riding front until it breaks/spoke pops out could result in loss of teeth or face skin. ??

small crack under the spoke to the right of the valve. if you have a rear 10 sp road wheel you are willing to part with, i'd be happy to take something off your hands as a spare!
