I know there's a huge review on mtbr but wanted to share my thoughts on these. Just put them on my Switchblade, Kryptotal enduro soft up front and Zynotal enduro soft on the rear, both 29x2.4 running 19psi F and 23 in the rear. Had my first ride on these last night at the DM Marty's night ride & BBQ. First thing, god I love the smell of new rubber, now onto the tires.

The soft compound is definitely sticky, they were tossing sand, dirt and rocks at me all night long and with sticky comes traction and lots of it too !!! I'm just back from Bentonville and had rented a Switchblade with DHR/DHF and the one big difference I notice is the lack of that vague feeling before the side knobs dig in. The conti's just seem to hold the line no matter what angle the bike is at. +1 for cornering for sure !!! Never had any skidding on the lose leaves either, they just seemed to dig right in and hold on tight. Breaking was excellent especially up front, was able to get the rear lose a few times but as soon as you let go of that brake you immediately get control back, sweet !!!

Now for the biggest plus, the dampening. Holy cow, it was like I just threw on new suspension, the damping on these tires is excellent. They don't ping off rocks and roots but rather absorb and release the impact in a very controlled way. I could actually feel that by just rolling the bike out of the shop and down the curb. Weight, they are on the heavy side, but I honestly didn't notice that at all, they roll extremely well. I lead a very fast paced ride last night even with tired legs from just coming back from my trip to Bentonville.

Overall I'm very pleased with their performance so far, will get more testing in this weekend up in NY. We are heading to Daniels Road State Forest to ride the rock slabs and rain is predicted for Sunday. Curious to see how these hold up on wet rocks and roots, will post a follow up after that.

Are you still liking these after another month+ of riding?

I ran enduro casing soft conti on my park bike , they lasted 2 years without issue . I ran pretty high pressure between 25 and 30 but am impressed they lasted that long . Compared to maxxis that barely last 2 months on rear of my park bike .
