11k in taxes on that big a property doesnt seem that bad based on most of northern NJ (at least what we saw when we were in the market 6ish years ago) when most of the postage stamp lots are in the 8-10k range

Yes, I know. When i sold my property (100x60) in northern Bergen county tax was around 7K. That was in 2013.

I live in the center of rockaway and my lot is a postage stamp....$9200 for taxes, so 11k for that house seems fair.

So, guy in my riding group went riding Wednesday night, couldn't go with him because I was working. Chatted a bit yesterday morning, that afternoon he was dead. Ride what you want, buy what you want, enjoy yourself.

Though I prefer a short commute over park location, the rest is spot on. My yard takes me 20 minutes back and front...it looks OK. We could afford double the house, don't care. When we go to sell it...paint the walls white and call it done.
