so i'm a little late on posting conditions of 3 days ago, but i'm sure today they are even worse after yesterday's rain.
saturday, noon, i came across every possible trail condition you could think of. it was tacky, muddy, dry and fast, snow packed and frozen, slushy, frozen muck and frozen tire ruts then back to peanut butter.
i only rode the yellow perimeter trail but then went across the street and did the out and back to the parking lot near whitehead road. i think that's called the Gilligan's Island section? then headed back to the Rt.24 lot and did that one small .86 mile loop that's basically a climb up and then the trail does a 180 and heads straight back. about 8 miles total?
they were all ridable, with the exception of some very wet areas that made my tires spin trying to climb and i had to hike a little.
