I'm switching everything to XTR. Still trying to figure out exactly what I need because there are a few different sizes, etc.

Here's my list so far. Any comments?

SHIMANO XTR FD-M960 FRONT DERAILLEUR
SHIMANO XTR M952 CRANKSET
SHIMANO XTR M952 BOTTOM BRACKET
SHIMANO XTR RD-M960 REAR DERAILLEUR
SHIMANO XTR M952 SHIFTERS

Looks to be around $600 with coupon + shipping but I'm not sure what crankset I wanna use. The M960 has the BB pressed onto right crankarm and is about 70 grams lighter then the M952 but from what I'm reading, lots of people are having problems with the M960 BBs. I figured go with the 952 because I can easily change the BB myself and has less problems even though it's heavier.

Carl, are these the derailleurs you were talking about?

yep but you could save yourself a good amount of cash if you went with the xt cranks instead.

I'll look into them as well. Just figured if I'm going XTR with everything else, why not do it all.

I did some thinking and since I already have an XT rearr deraileur, I will stick with that for now. I purchased an XT M752 crankset yesterday and I'll upgrade my LX front deraileur to XTR in a few weeks.
