EDIT- Probably not dishwasher safe, at least not heated dry. They are super thin and will deform and maybe even melt.

You are correct. They are basically race day bottles. I’ve been using them for a few months and except for the nail strike, they’re holding up well. The other elite bottles developed leaks at the mouth piece. But these are still good. And if you bought them, how easy are they to clean? The mouth piece pops right apart and there’s way for mold to grow.

i guess the million penny question here is how quickly does the contents (mix or water) get HOT AF this time of year? not that it stops me from drinking it, but omg is hot water gross

Been using these stainless speedflasks for hydration powder the last month plus. They work great, stay cold all day, are easy to clean and definitely don’t taste like plastic. The flip up cap keeps the spout pretty clean.

Most importantly they are not plastic which can be effected by sunlight and release toxins. Good choice!!

No rattles, they fit cages pretty well.

Definitely a little tougher to get out of the cage than a plastic one though.

Was surprised to get this email this morning

On further investigation it seems they are just moving the polar line into the hydra pak family. I see new style polar bottles on Hydrapak web site but they all show out of stock probably by design until January.

I’m gonna order 2 new bottles and 2 extra caps now anyway since the 2 bottles I have in rotation the caps and nozzles are a bit stained a little damaged from cleaning. and for $5 for a new one keeps the current bottles usable.
