Clayton okay in the early, early morning?

I have been hitting alot of SPIN Classes lately and I'd love to get some real saddle time in before hunting for eggs with kids. Soooo, I am thinking if I hit the trail around 7:00AM and if I am off by 8:30AM I will avoid any mud and will not contribute to any trail damage.

Bad idea? Good idea?

Of course this assumes we don't get any rain...

We were at Clayton today and it was fine, even with all of the rain yesterday. There was only one muddy spot on the straight section on the other side of the pond.
