One more pro wax comment and then I’m out. The drivetrains I’ve used wax on have had zero wear.
Same chain and XX1 cassette, zero wear. Which is kinda nice because XX1 may a well be spelled $$1. Especially when it comes to cassettes.

I did the wax thing for a couple years. It’s just too much hassle. I will acknowledge that it works well (can’t comment on watts, lol) but the process is a PITA. I went back to using conventional chain lube a couple months ago.

This video is the reason why I waxed all my chains tonight. Not the watts but the wear table that shows how much longer drivetrains last with wax.

With 4 bikes unfortunately this is a step I need to take so I don't go more bankrupt than I already am. I was already using the lubes in the top tier of effeciency but I have the wax already may as well use it.
