CCC riders with chainsaw?

anybody got a chainsaw? Several downed trees at exit of 1 mile trail (opposite end from Renegade/twisty trail) making it impassable. Gonna head back thursday afternoon with a bow saw and see what I can get cleared.

bow saw and hatchett will work chainsaw would just be quicker, gotta fix my regular loop before the weekend

Is this place worth checking out. Heard someone at D and Q talking about it.

You can get a decent 6 mile loop out of it. not as rooty or challenging as CCC. Ceres has way more built features to play on. If you live close by, yeah check it out. It's not a "destination" place to ride like Wiss or Brandywine. But it's 2 blocks from my house and it is a fun little place to ride. And now that the bugs are gone, can start nite rides again:popcorn:

Not sure where you usually ride but you could always ride CCC and either GCC or Ceres as a combo ride. All 3 places are only about 15 minutes away from each other. Might make it more worth the trip from Medford.

I've ridden GCC a few times and thought it was a pretty good spot. Ceres is on the list of places to still hit, CCC would probably take me 30-40 minutes not to bad. I usuallly drive all the way out to allaire and clayton twice a week.

oh, sounded like you hadnt rode CCC before. I have a pretty regular loop that clocks in over 6 miles hitting all the trails behind the college and then do some of the easier stuff up front .

I'm gonna try and get out there. be nice to ride with someone that knows the place. Where do you park?
Park in the park next to the college. You'll see one small lot next to the woods, there's a shed there and most the cars will have bike racks on them. My car is a gray CX-7. PM sent.
