Car-spotting thread

554-mile, 2-day huge loop with @C6ZBill. Only 50 of those were on Interstates. The rest was on county and state 2-lane roads.

Day 1: Hawk's Nest, Route 97 to Hancock, Tunkhannock Viaduct, Wyalusing Rocks Overlook, ended in Lewisburg to meet a friend for dinner.

The Viaduct was the largest or longest concrete structure for 50 years. Built in 1915.

Did you know Wyalusing was nearly a French aristocracy refugee camp that was supposed to include Marie Antoinette? Me either.

Day 2: Lewisburg to Centre Hall, Beaver Springs, Sunbury, Elysburg, Centralia, Route 54 to Jim Thorpe for lunch. Then 209, 248 back to 33/78.

Nothing makes you appreciate NJ like running through Schuylkill and Carbon counties in PA. Kids, are you seeing this plight?

Car ran great at some sustained, fast speeds. Very comfortable, no back pain. Tight neck and shoulders from being up on the wheel for hours at a clip. They are fun roads but not easy roads to navigate.

I think I'm pretty much spoiled for anything else at this point.

Wheels were pretty dirty from up and down the Poconos for hundreds of miles. Came clean with just car wash soap and a microfiber cloth. It's a noticeable difference with the ceramic coating on the wheels.
