BTW, you can be relatively well-assured that the fork is working. Mendon Cyclesmith is the authority on Lefty's prior to their Rockshox-ification.

yes sir that's why I had him do it..he tightened me up and a few of my headshok forks I have on my super v's...old school suspension bikes

Yup that’s what I did last summer sold my backup road bike to get a gravel bike.

Warning - gravel riding is addictive. 👍🏻
