Did you know you had a CAD Manager on the forum? It could be done a number of ways if you have the right programs. In AutoCAD, you could print to .pdf. At my company we use a third party app named AcroPlot. It makes a smaller .pdf file (better compression).
Feel free to send it to me. I should be able to do it tonight.
I use a program called pdf 995
it is free and once it is installed it shows up in your plot window
select the pdf995 from the plot configuration drop down.
set what size and print.you will get a window asking where you want to save the file.Save the file then hit print.
here is the web page http://www.pdf995.com/
We use PDF995 as well. Company-wide. Although a few of us have an old version of full Acrobat loaded on our machines. Nice, as it allows me to edit non-protected PDF files. Useful for electronic submittal reviews.
