Help me fund my upcoming cross season!
1. Burly single speed/fixed wheelset: Formula hubs to Sun CR18 rims, 36 DT 2.0 spokes, laced triple cross. Axle spacing is 130mm, but could easily be converted to 120mm with a few spacers. Fixed threading on one side, freewheel threading on the other. I used them for commuting for about a season; they spin smooth and true, and are incredibly tough. Overall they're in really great shape. This would be a great wheelset for commuting, single-speed touring (!!) or for trying out single speed CX. I've attached a photo; this is where I bought the wheels originally. $70
2. Pair Ritchey Speed Max Pro 700x32c cyclocross tires. Used, but still have life in them. Fast rolling, light tires with a file tread. Throw em on the wheelset about and you've got yourself a budget CX wheelset. $20
