Never seen this before on a car that didn't meet reserve.

It happens but it's rare. I'm guessing if BAT can still make money with the buyers fee after kicking in a few bucks to make the deal.

Then that evening my youngest sons good friends dad owns a Fire dealership after years working for others. Guess he decided to buy himself a new toy.

2019 Carrera 4S with only 22K miles. I’m not sure if it has any mods but man the turbo sound off this thing is sweet. Made my whole house rumble when he pulled up and I could hear him driving away for at least a mile. My son was thrilled to go for a ride even if he had to stuff himself in the back. Paul (the dad) promised me a ride soon.

M5 at Home Depot today.

Yeah those quad rectangular headlights 🙄 Tho I suppose the motor in that thing is worth a few grand?

Haha I built up my 77 Monte Carlo in the same way. I had slotted aluminum wheels and stuffed wider rear tires and smaller front tires on it to make it look jacked.

Once I redid the top end of the motor (carb, cam, heads, etc) and added headers the collectors would scrape the ground even on those little highway rollers inhad to add chevelle station wagon springs to the front to keep the car from sagging. Probably explains why the chassis mounts eventually gave out.

Mine never looked this good but I would dream about restoring it.
