Oh whatcha mean? I didn’t catch that he bought it on BaT for more. They lost money on it
I meant if they had owned it since new.... Car isn't close to making its msrp price backOh whatcha mean? I didn’t catch that he bought it on BaT for more.
I definitely think buyer got it for a good price if that’s what you mean.
Gotcha. Kinda crazy now that you say that and another sold for $175k three months ago.I meant if they had owned it since new.... Car isn't close to making its msrp price back
Crazy, because I think the opposite. Maybe because I never drove in one?Gotcha. Kinda crazy now that you say that and another sold for $175k three months ago.
Every time I see an NSX it feels more special than any other exotic supercar.
I mean 109k this one sold for... They cost over 90k new in 04... Thats 130 to 140k in todays dollarsGotcha. Kinda crazy now that you say that and another sold for $175k three months ago.

I know what you mean but these were under appreciated at $50k like 10 years ago. I’m not here to debate prices or value. Plus, was it worth $50k for him to own it 17years. $250/month (face value)? I think so if he enjoyed it. No one should expect going into a car purchase as an investment unless if (1) it is some kind of special (2) you never drive it or (3) you are @Carson or (4) all of the above
Well, growing up a 90s kid that’s what I like . To each their own.

ya 3000 new, so about 25k today....of course, a 67 mustang had a LOW point....in the 70s, under $1000 or in the case of my car $200. A 19,000 mile NSX never had a low point. Is that a fair comparison tho? What's your 67 GT fastback worth today? MSRP in today's $ is about $25K?
True, and this has me selling so that I'm better positioned to snap something up post-correction (keep in mind I'm about 30+ year old vehicles). Either that or I'll spend it on a few bucket list travel destinations. The way I am putting on miles on the GT3 (5-6K a year), the investment for me in the enjoyment in the experience. I may not get 100% of my money back as if I parked it and wiped it with a diaper every day, but I can assure you the depreciation and running costs will be well worth it!
I believe when the market finally corrects, so will real property. Houses, cars, collectibles. Maybe not back to 2019 prices, but this is not sustainable.
