Brendan Byrne State Forest Trail Maps

I rode these trails many years ago in the late 80s/early 90s when it was called Lebanon State Forest. We parked at Pakim Pond. This was some of the first mtn bike rides I did. Even before I started riding at the Wissahickon.

I remember a lot of the trails were old fire cuts between the double-track fire roads. They would get whooped out from the motos riding them and basically become long pump tracks that were actually a lot of fun.

I remember riding a loop that was apparently an old moto enduro trail that wove through trees over short (6' or so) and somewhat steep mounds left over from old quarry work. Does anyone remember this and/or know if the trail is still there?

I remember that section from the late 80s or so. One year in the Pine Hill Enduro, several minutes (groups) of riders (15 to 20) got stacked up behind slower riders there. It was like being in a crazy Chinese Dragon twisting and dancing between the trees. Fun stuff!
