Up for sale is a brand new bike!

Why am I selling?
My old bike was damaged in a car accident, I ordered the frame which took a few months to get here so bought a complete new bike (2021 model) and stripped it down to frame and built it with older components for myself. This 2022 frame just came and I used brand new take off parts from the 2021 model to build this.
The components are from M10 carbon model (note this frame is alloy), with some upgrades (noted below).

This is my 4th Orbea bike and 3rd Occam. Orbea's build quality is really good. This bike is really good for everyday trail riding and is also pretty good for laps around the bike park. I have taken my Occam to Mountain Creek, Killington and it can handle some gnarly stuff and big hits.

Here are the details on the build:
Size - Large 2022 model frame
  • Material - Alloy (every weld on the front triangle is polished smooth which not only looks good but also increases fatigue resistance at the welds)
  • FORK Fox 34 Float Factory 140 FIT4 3-Pos-Adj QR15x110 Kashima (option - used Fox 36 factory (kashima coated) grip 2 with fresh damper service by Fox)
  • SHOCK Fox Float DPS Factory 3-Position Evol Kashima custom tune 210x50mm
  • BRAKES Shimano XT M8120 Hydraulic Disc - 4 piston front and rear
  • Rotors - Shimano 180mm Freeza Ice Tech 180mm
  • REAR DERAILLEUR Shimano XT M8100 SGS Shadow Plus
  • SHIFTERS Shimano XT M8100
  • CASSETTE Shimano XT CS-M8100 10-51t 12-Speed (Upgrade, Orbea specs M10 model with SLX cassette)
  • CHAIN Shimano XT (Upgrade, Orbea specs M10 model with M6100 chain)
  • Bottom Bracket - Shimano XT BSA Threaded
  • CRANKSET Shimano XT M8100 32t (Note that this is used, I have about 80 miles on these cranks, they are in like new shape though, we can talk numbers if the buyer wants a new crankset)
  • WHEELS DT Swiss XM-1650 Spline 30c TLR CL, Star Ratchet, Boost -29"
  • HEADSET Acros Alloy 1-1/8 - 1-1/2" Integrated
  • HANDLEBAR - Option for buyer - Raceface Turbine Alloy 35 mm rise 780 mm width or Carbon Race Face Next R 35 20mm Rise 780mm (both a used, Turbine has about 6 months of riding and Next R has about 5 rides/~60 miles)
  • STEM Race Face Aeffect R 35mm interface
  • Front Tire Maxxis High Roller II 2.50" 60 TPI 3CMaxxTerra Exo TR
  • Rear Tire Maxxis Rekon 2.40" Exo TR
  • SEATPOST OC 2 Dropper, 31,6mm (very easy to service if needed, I have the same on my bike 2 years and still going strong, no problems even in winters)
  • SEATPOST LEVER OneUp
  • SADDLE Fizik Taiga S-alloy rail
  • HEADSET Acros Alloy 1-1/8 - 1-1/2" Integrated
  • I have matching red Stamp 7 alloy pedals on the bike now which can be included in the sale for the right price
  • I can also put on frame protector tape if the buyer wants
Now, if you made it this far, you are likely a serious buyer.
The M10 spec bike sells for $6499 + taxes so total about $6900+. This bike has some upgraded Cassette, BB & Chain over M10.
I am asking $4,200 for this brand new bike - in stock and ready to ride.

Damn it. If only it was an LT. 😂

As an Occam owner, I can attest that this is a killer trail bike. This will sell in a hot minute. GLWTS
We can swap the shock and add a longer air shaft to the same bike and make it an LT!!

Just for the record, @kbajaj does not keep a bike long enough to have to wash or lube it. In this case it’s a new build so no surprise. Good deal on a new bike. Spring is coming. GLWTS?

Can it do this^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^? Asking for Max RIP.
This photo is of the bike for sale’s “dad bike” who is no longer with us.
First it got hit by a car and then during post Mortem was cut in half so that a death certificate could be issued. Sad day.
The “son bike” will carry on the legacy…
