Branchbrook last weekend...

I was on vacation for the past week but in catching up with some friends I found out that a pretty good racer and guy got hurt pretty bad in last weeks race at Branchbrook Ed Ceccolini.

From what I heard he broke is Elbow, Shoulder, and Broke a bone in his neck as well as a bunch of skin and may have apparently damaged his ear.

This happened on a day when Ed got 6th in the masters race earlier in the day.

Keep him in your thoughts for a speedy recovery !!
 
Fast Eddie is one of the nicest down to earth unassuming guys you'd ever meet, and also one of the fastest riders in the state. He was in a medically induced coma for nearly 2 days and also had bleeding on the brain. He's looking at a very long recovery time. I'll post up contact information when I get it.
 
Always a guy I looked up to... Back 2 Back Masters winner at Battenkill !! You can't deny he always lived up to his name "Fast Eddie" !!
 
That is not cool. I was in that race and saw the crash. I would never have thought it was that bad. Sorry to read that Ed was so banged up. He had been riding well each week.
 
Saw him today.

As much as the accident and injuries were serious, his recovery is nothing short of spectacular. Ed is an inspiration in toughness and positivity in the face of gruesome bad luck.

He'll be back on the bike kicking our butts before the season is over.
