There is a great ad for Santa Cruz Nomad and it has a picture of a rider decked out in a full-face helmet and pads. the caption goes something like this: bobby mcmullen has diabetes, fractured his leg, arm, shoulder (and a whole host of other injuries...) What makes him special is that he is blind:

Right on

I read the article in Dirt Rag back when it came out. This guy is so badass. Talk about a reminder to quit complaining about insignificant little issues that life tends to present. And a great inspiration to go out for a good hard ride.
