Lol- 1/2 of this is true for me but every boater can relate

About a month ago, dad is on the boat first time this year while docking he is asking me all sorts of questions and telling me to do this and that. (Haven’t never captained a boat before that is). I tell him to STFU and of course bang! I hit the piling pretty hard. Need to repair a corner guard. Fortunate that was all that was damaged.

Maiden voyage from the across the street launch. Motor is pretty useful vs paddling the currents under the Rt36 bridge even at slack tide. Also finally got a closeup of a neighbor's boat. You've arrived when your vessel is listed on super yacht registries

Just like riding a bike. I got out for a paddle twice this week, which makes it twice in 3 years. Which I think is the longest break I've had from paddling since I started 40+ years ago. But you know what they say....
