A tad fresh out so I did not roll out until the crack of noon.

Winged a nice winter lunch route.

Fries were barely warm. That sucked but shit happens.

I rode Wildcat with three of my teammates today, all of whom race in the pro category. I waited for them at the top of every climb, and I even mostly kept up with them on the downhills. 29ers are just as good as fat bikes in the snow though 🙃

I was up nice and early, well before the crack of dawn but couldn’t get motivated to get outside. Went for a ride after the kiddo’s basketball game and was actually overdressed. I noticed some heavy equipment tracks alongside the the local woods so I went exploring. Looks like a water main is leaking. Oddly it appeared to have been excavated and subsequently backfilled but it was definitely still leaking a decent amount of water.

Did a short but spirited gravel ride. Sun was out, temps were nice. More ice than I expected but all good.

Doing a 45 min blast on trainer for the days without outdoor rides is starting to take its toll on the OLD legs.

The trails look nothing like this. Except this trail, which looks very much like this. Staying upright on this is a good core workout and good balance practice.

Turdish last couple of days, very good to be back on the bike.

Got twenty minutes into the ride, just about to hit the woods and my dropper gave out. MF. Rode home standing and grabbed the other bike.

Got a lecture from "The Man" about being that guy leading the MEAT LOAF parade with the phat blue tooth. Yeah, that guy.
