Yup Feedback Pro-Elite here too.Feedback here also.
I just hang my bike(s) on the stand by the saddle, almost never clamp it in. I mean maybe 1x per year so to me the Inspector Gadget clamp is not worth it.

👆🏻This.right, its driving me nuts just seeing the picture of that mess!
That’s the one I recently got. I tinker with my bikes much more now that I have the stand. It’s definitely better than having to bend over the whole time with the bike on the floor. I used to hang the bike up on a hook to do repairs but found it annoying with all the swinging around every time I tried to torque something.I see the one at REI is a tripod stand
Feedback Sports Sport Mechanic Repair Stand | REI Co-op
This repair stand offers a blend of compactness, light weight and height-adjustable features at a terrific value.www.rei.com
I've had this guy for about 5 years. Still going strong and mostly used with my 40lb boat anchor bike.

See @thegock. Now that’s what a bike repair area should look like! 😁If you can find a PCS-2 in decent shape, Park still makes all the parts for 30-40 year old stands that are compatible with the newest models. It's absolutely wonderful having a base that won't move if a Cat 5 hurricane rolls through.

Mine is a bit finicky. Everything inside is mechanically sound, but the ratchets just don’t seem to catch sometimes.I am down with the feedback sports ones. The only thing I would have changed is to spring for the pro head with the pop lock. I have the twist lock one and it is a bit cumbersome.

I may try to do something along these lines at some point:
Close quarters work stand
Or perhaps, the correct term is work hang. Regardless, a recent move gave me the opportunity to move my previously off-site workshop on...www.tearsforgears.com
Seems to make sense in terms of floor space. You also would have better access to both sides of the bike without the stand column in the way.

BKXC did something similar as well.
I was thinking the same thing.. basically and arsonist’s wet dream.Dude, don’t toke up in that area or you might set the whole place a-blaze 😀
Just the tip.. of the day
Mention this thread and the passphrase “constapated granmother flying squirrel 🐿 “ for 10% the prices on the feedback website.@jdog I'll call the shop when you open to see which models you have in stock. Rather buy local than REI.

That's some seriously fucked up foreshadowing on my part after last night.
