The SJ wheelman have invited JORBA members and any interested mountain bikers to their annual hootenanny down south:

SOUTH JERSEY WHEELMEN BELLEPLAIN CABIN WEEKEND

WHEN: APRIL 12, 13, 14, 2013

WHERE: EAST CREEK GROUP CABIN, BELLEPLAIN STATE FOREST, RT. 347, DENNIS TOWNSHIP, CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ

EVENT: ANNUAL WEEKEND GET AWAY TO ROAD AND MOUNTAIN BIKE

Because the Belleplain Single Track is now completed, we are incorporating more mountain bike activities into our weekend. As such, this year we have invited JORBA members and other interested mountain bikers to join us to ride, share some refreshments after, and opt to stay the night if they wish. Besides our normal road bike rides, we will be hosting a day and/or night mountain bike ride for those interested.

Friday schedule:
Someone will be at the cabin starting around 1 p.m. on Friday. Rides will be available for those who want to either road or mountain bike. Friday night meal will be the responsibility of those at the cabin.

Saturday schedule:
9:30 a.m. - road bike ride leaving from the cabin
10:00 a.m. - mountain bike ride (4, 7, or 11 mile options) leaving from the parking lot behind Lake Nummy. (Rt. 550 into Belleplain State Forest, 1/2 mile take right on Meisle Rd, go around lake to parking area behind Lake Nummy). Meatball subs will be available at the cabin after the ride.
7:30 p.m. mountain bike night ride leaving from the cabin on Rt. 347 (for those who have proper lighting). Spend the night if you wish.

Sunday schedule:
9:30 a.m. road ride

If you wish to to spend the night, contact Allen Jackson aljaxn(at)aol.com to confirm. The cabin sleeps 26. Bring sleeping bag or bed sheets and pillow, towels and toiletries.

Great weather. Fun ride with Allen and his new bike. Cool to see Frank get 12+ feet down a wip log ride. Excellent meatball samwiches. woopwoop!
