back on the bike...

1st time in 14 days, and did 17 miles of fairly easy to rolling roads. It felt great to be back on the bike, but my maximum heart rate was about 20 points higher than normal. I can only guess it is the prednisone. Any thoughts?

Good to hear you're riding again. Maybe your heart was beating faster because you were excited to be back on the bike. :)

When I first went on Prednisone my resting heart rate was usually 105bpm. Its settled down now, but that will do it.

Yeah, Scott, it feels real good to be back.

Thanks, Gary. I will check my resting heart rate.

I got a solid 4 hours last night, and was still able to ride and clean the garage this morning :). I wish I could bottle this energy and save it for a later date.
