Leave the windows down.Guess I'll have to give it a shot and rip it off in the parking lot if it fails and circle back through
and pull the fuse or take off the winders so it’s “always that way.”Leave the windows down.
@Strugglebus do you know if the full inspecction is for all commercial-plated vehicles or just for vehicles over 26,000 pounds?
This was the case....Guess I'll have to give it a shot and rip it off in the parking lot if it fails and circle back through
im honestly surprised the state employees give enough fucks to fail you for it.
There was a sign on the outside of the building they were hiring, but wasn't marketed as an outside company. But for $15/hr and a week and a half signing bonus, I doubt those resume's will be stacking up with competent skills. Perfect for the 18 year old just outta high school.maybe? i was there first week of the month with the truck and saw this on the window of their little 'waiting room'

Does it matter if it's an auto? Front or rear door the 2x4s?Put it on gear, 2nd gear is my gear of choice and get your self a couple of 2X4s to jam on the tires

Yep have those already, wish me luck 🤞
Yes, I remember you showing your setup a while back. Thinking to make some wheel cribs instead of jack stànds, this guy on a Nova site even put them on wheel dollies.whichever end you are jacking up, put the 2x4s on the other end. if you are jacking up one side block the other (front and rear)
also you need jack stands, dont ever trust your hydraulic jack to support the weight for longer than it takes to set a stand.
if youg e around to a lift at some point i can recommend the quick jack setup, i love mine.
