I had the opportunity to take a road ride around the forest this past Saturday on a visit with some friends. I think I should have taken my hardtail out instead. 🙂

I ended up going 70 miles. There are some nice roads around the forest with bike lanes painted on the shoulders, although there were very few cars around.

Since the roads around there were pretty flat, is the singletrack inside the forest pretty flat as well?

Looking forward to trying it out the next time I'm down here!

It's not much really, overall it's flat as expected.

Not sure how accurate the elevation tracking on Strava is but 106 ft over 17 miles? Not much climbing there at all. Cool. 🙂

Strava tracked 333 ft over 68 miles on the road around there so at least it's consistent.
