Anyone interested in riding CX on MTB trails?

No one wants to ride CX on MTB trails up by me so I figured I'd post here.

More and more I've been riding trails at Blue Mt (in NY), Ringwood, Jungle Habitat, etc. on a CX bike and really enjoying the challenge. Makes me a better MTB rider.

Anyone else down for getting a group ride going on some technical trails?

I'm down. I've ridden 6mr a few times and parts of Chimney Rock once on my CX and would certainly be willing to try other places.

Being that your in NY I won't encourage making the drive down to Clayton to ride it exclusively but it is a really fun place on the cx... The park is small

Allaire is lots of fun on CX bike as well and worth the drive...

I can't imagine riding CX at RW, Blue, etc.. OP must have some skillz

It's really not as hard as it first looks, honest; you just need to pick your lines more carefully. No suspension to rob your energy means climbs can actually be easier and even 1-2ft jumps/drops are doable if you soak up the landing with your legs.

If you also MTB, riding tech trails with a CX will make you a massively better technical MTB rider and also a lot stronger.
