Anyone got some 2.5-3"x1" bar stock

Doesn't need to be "good" steel or aluminum, but I need ~6 feet of it (2+ foot sections, 3 pieces).

They're being used as clamping forms, so they do need to be straight, though.

@Purl I actually briefly thought about that, but since part of the function is compressing the thing being clamped (paper/leather/fabric), I passed on it. I would use thicker pieces of wood to back it up, except the adhesives being used would stick to that.

Does it have to be new or some surface rust ok? I may have some cold rolled that has “petina” on it in the scrap bin.

Well, if you're asking if I have any problem removing rust, that would be no, as long as the average flatness is still...flat.
