Post from Sunday: our church is stepping up their communion game.
Guess they want to see me more often.

Can anybody recommend a good bourbon? need to get a gift for a nice guy. $50-$75?
Yes, but any idea of what he likes?
In that price range, I’d be looking at a pretty bottle (Blantons), or a higher abv barrel proof expression.
Elijah Craig BP, Stagg Jr (probably not currently available), or a Knob Creek 120* variant.

No idea, I stay at his house occasionally in Vermont. last time I got him basel hyden? he seemed to like it, I thought it was disgusting. but I like coors light and cabernet.

@jmanic Best non-baller ingredients for a Manhattan. Already have 2.5" ice spheres.
You realize I drink neat exclusively, right?

2oz Bourbon or rye, depending on preference
1oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes of bitters
212 manhattan’s area code

Non baller?
I’d go Buffalo Trace and Angostura

Other options that occurred to me are:
Noah’s Mill, Woodford Reserve Double Oak (easy to enjoy) and I haven’t tried it, but Makers Select seems to be making a good impression.
