Who knew we had such an interest in vintage mountain bikes, but the Vintage Bike Ride, Parade and Show turn out surprised me. So...
I am gauging interest in a cruise bike ride. Cool bikes that we have, and need a event to ride. Fat fenders, coaster brakes, ape hanger bars, stretched frames, and the like. In Somerville, NJ there are weekend evening vintage car shows. We would take out our cruisers, ride the main drag, maybe grab some food and beer, and check out the cars while the drivers are checking out our bikes. Leave the padded shorts behind (get it?) put on your Hawaiian shirt, and do a slo-mo cruise night the same night Somerville is in party mode.
