I did this last year and if not for the damn rain, I had a blast!
Greenbrook Racing puts this on every year but have not heard a thing thus far about it. Hopefully this will happen.

From last year's recap.....:hmmm:

The 6th annual Epic Honey Badger Night Ride was hell on wheels!! 12 good men came out in the rain to start. The conditions were
perfect: dark, wet, and slippery. All was fine until we had our first swimmer at mile 18! I laughed so hard I could not pedal for a mile. It was funnier then the line in the movie, the bucket list, when Morgan freedman tells Jack Nicholson that his coffee comes form Leopard poop in South America. The stop at 7/11 in Trenton was a blast we had 2 homeless guy doing jumping jacks. We made one hell of a muddy mess of the store. It rained the entire 31 miles home. We biked puddle to puddle and fish tailed all the way back. There were 6 official finishers Chris Esnes, Glen May, Joe Vandyke, Brian Rosner, Joe Patanella, and Matt. There may be 2 other possible finisher Justin and Kevin!! If you would like to suffer with us we will be out there next year on Dec 6th!! Joe Patanella/GBR
But the big question is WHERE IS KEVIN???

Hahahaha I remember that post!! This year I would love to finish the whole thing AND get a taste of the then promised macaroni and cheese and the end!!

EMS guy is not Mike - having a brain fart, as i saw him again today at 6MR and asked - geez, getting old sucks.

Bye bye 2013

I am IN on this. Still P.O'd that I missed the registration for Cathedral Pine and need some event to end the year.

Forgot what the answer was to whether this can/should be run with CX bike? ( 35c tires )

As a reminder for all who will be riding to bring any and everything necessary you will need for a 5-6 hour ride.
Items include:
Helmet
Cold/wet gear
some cash
cell phone
flat kit/tube
fenders?
change of clothes
food
water/sports drink
You can easily do this ride on a MTB, cyclocross, fat bike. I don't recommend a road bike especially in wet conditions.
This is a social ride with a nice steady firm pace. Very fun!

change of clothes?

Yes indeed.
Should the weather be foul, you may want to consider a change if clothes when we stop in Trenton.
Should you accidentally fall in to the canal...which by the way I have been told happens every year and I have witnessed it myself.
Should you pee your pants laughing at the poor soul who goes for an unintentional swim.
Should what you're wearing not be sufficient for the weather.

Also keep in mind, in wet weather you may consider placing these items and valuables in a plastic bag to keep from getting wet.

No mad face, just wondering. Lots of people do 5-6 hours ride with just one set of clothes.
