Annual Hike a Bike race at Lippman

Hey all, this is a great race. Unique mix of trails. You get to rip through some uber-groomed, giant BMX track type stuff and then blast off into the Catskill wilderness. You land back in the singletrack sweetness of the bike park at Lippman.
Overall a really fun course, readily accessible from North NJ and great crew that runs the race (last year they even had a BBQ afterwards - free! for racers).

This is what mountain biking is about. Great course, hike a bike is a good name for it since 90% of the field will hike at one point or another. Great people and awesome BBQ afterwards. Last years SS Open winner Calvin Decker went on to win the Tour Divide first timers class, real cool guy to chill with.
