Amazon hub lockers

This is genius, but the fact you’d have to carry everything with you after, I imagine doesn’t help, unless you can keep the locker forever? I picture it light one of those package auxiliary mail boxes, once you put the key in it stays in.

The lockers pop open then close and that's it.

Another thing is if you don't pick your item up in 3 days then they refund it automatically.

Buy a spare part or something you might need for a job or project, put it on deck if you don't need it then it goes back.

Thru hikers typically mail themselves resupplies in advance so they're not beholden to Dollar General for months on end. I believe theyll keep it at post offices for weeks no issues.
 
Until you order Gu for our long ride and get there before the delivery and you go hungry or wait for the Amazon man.
 
We use the hubs quite extensively and we love them but not for the purpose you've stated. We go on road trips quite often and we usually forget to bring little things so we order them from Amazon and have them delivered to the nearest locker (hub) to our destination. Being a Prime member helps a lot. We've had to order things like the connection cable for my son's Oculus, hair conditioner, some kind of swim cover for my wife, etc. We've even placed the order on the road from the phone and it'll be there the next day. It's even more convenient when the hub is in your hotel like the Embassy Suites in Kissimmee.
