Allaire TM session 8/17

Hey everyone we will be meeting 8/17 at 8 am for a trail session at Allaire.
going to do some much needed trimming on the hog bog plus working on some water nicks.
Come on out and lend a hand just bring gloves,water and a sense of humor....
let me know if you are in so i can get a bagel count...
You don't need to be a JORBA member to come out we have tools....

Will try to make this for once. That bend on the River Trail going into the woods from Hospital Road is washed out really bad, and just over the first wooden bridge, the trail is caving into the Manasquan River. Not sure anything can be done short of building a bulkhead. I can see about bringing a barge and a pile driver. 😉

Yeah, the River Trail does not get much love due to mother nature challenges after every storm

That whole trail needs a bit of rework the down hill to the left into the woods is just a washout mess plus the bridge as you say needs help.
I will be out there weds. for a beginner ride and can check out the options then...
The other section that has always been tough is the top of the switchback trail the first main turn has a serious washout issue.

That second bridge from the road is currently an engineering feat of a mini suspension bridge. Had been a while since I ventured down the River Trail, somehow I wound up on the Black trail, which was quite challenging but fun.
