It's because everyone comes to Allaire for the gnar. 🙄

Seriously though, the lot will be packed from now until the spring, why do you think I always tell people to stay away?? 😉

Also, I typically take the Orange to Black to Orange. Interested how the other trails (i.e. Hog bog, trail around radio control field and on other side of hospital road) compare. Thanks.

Allaire tends to gain in popularity when the ground firms up in the fall. When the northern parks get iced up, folks head south to get their mtb fix.

Hog Bog is quite fun - some nice contours when ridden at a decent speed. Never ridden across Hospital Rd... been wondering myself.

When I finished I saw a guy standing by the entrance with a bright yellow jacket and I was so tempted to ask him to bring my car around :hysterica

On a more somber note, I saw the police/ambulance/fire truck there. 🙁 Sure hope that person(s) is/are ok.

Dan, you're right... HB adds an interesting nuance as compared to the other main trails. Spent some time exploring some of the "gray" trails... so much variation... had a blast. Well worth it!
