Yep, I was out there tonight with Wobbegong and Manny taking a hot lap.
I was the one in Blue dragging up the rear. Nice ride and saw plenty of people out there, I thought it was going to be a little more tacky with all the rain, but dry as a bone.
If you see me out there on a blue and silver Fisher Cake say hi as wheeze by.

Absolutely not man. Just meant with the effort I didn't want to be totally blown out and not be able to ride this weekend.
Might possibly be back out tonight but more likely tomorrow. Tweaked my rear wheel a little so I have to true that back in before I get back out there.

I had a riding friend kill himself this spring. I am not over it myself.
I have know many people die that I have known but somehow his suicide left me feeling more empty and haunted than natural death.
I go between angry and sad about it.
I know I couldn't stop him but I think it was cowardly. How bad must life be to put a gun in your mouth.
What a f'k world at times.

Two things: I saw the matching guy/gal as well. I was heading back to the soccer fields and pulled over to let you by - howdy! I was on a raw intense, greenish shirt. on my own. I have no friends.
Jay - I went through something similar not so long back. A really good friend did it to herself to get back at her husband, of all things. It made me angry.

pearl - we got there before "normal" after work time, and left the 27 lot around 7.
vlk - we did a loop from 27 to the canal and back, 15 miles or so
wob - you guys seemed to be moving along nice, my gf was picking thorns out of her leg on the side of the trail when you passed by.
I gotta try to make it up here more after work. It's only 20 minutes from my shop so it's not bad.

Cool man I remember you guys. How long does it usually take for you guys to get through? I'm still finding my legs so I usually do one side or the other and have only strung both sides together a few times. Right now I'm doing the rt 27 side <1hr depending on how many of the log rides and stuff I stop and try and kill myself on. I haven't tried just straight hammering it yet.

A casual group pace with a couple stops usually takes about 1hr40min~ish. Last night was a train, pedaling time was 1hr15min then we extended it a lil cause we escorted some lost souls in the twisties.
