Adapting 9sp Tiagra levers for small hands/short reach

My cousin has a Cannondale Synapse with a 9sp Tiagra triple drivetrain. She can't ride it because she's got tiny hands and can't reach the levers when she's in the drops. She rode it maybe twice years ago and since then it's a $2K road bike sitting in the garage. I saw her last week and took it home to see if there was anything I could do.

I can't find any reach adjustment on these levers. I found reach adjustment shims online (Shimano calls them spacers) that are used to shorten the reach, but I can only find them for the left side. Right side out of stock everywhere. I bought 2 left sets figuring I might be able to cut the second set and make them work for the right side. Should arrive early this week.

Just wanted to throw this out there to the group to see if anyone has had any experience with this sort of thing. Thanks
