The EHT Nature Reserve consists of both forest and large reclaimed/restored gravel pit. There are not many miles of trails. But it is a fun ride if you are in the area. Located in the east side of Egg Harbor Township. It’s a short twelve minute drive from the GSP and Ocean City.

12 mins from OC? Sweet. Guess I'll have a reason to bring the bike when I go in August after all.

I ride here all of the time. Nice easy wooded trails that branch off in a few different directions. You can roam a bit more than many do if you get creative.

There are a few 40-50 ft climbs. Some can be challenging ( for guys like me lol ) like this rutted climb up from the lake on loose dirt. You can also decend down quite a few chutes and there are steps that I like to ride down to the lake.

Just a few miles away is the EHT BMX track. I like to hit that before or after riding the reserve. As pointed out prior to this post you're not far from Ocean City. The OC Bridge is always fun and you can top it off with the boardwalk. Enjoy.
