Went for a ride on the 4th of July at Washington’s battle field in freehold. Started to rain and then a beautiful rainbow appeared. Do you think Washington’s spirit joined me on the patriotic ride?

No. A rainbow is a fairly common meteorological phenomenon wherein water droplets in the air reflect and refract light, thereby dispersing the light into its component spectrum. It is perfectly reasonable and quite mundane that it would occur after a rainstorm and therefore requires no explanation wherein the disembodied spirit of a lauded yet deeply flawed and indecisive field general who died over 200 years somehow intervened.
yet the convergence of the 4th of July, riding the battlefield, with rain in the distance, as the sun set, could be considered some sort of cosmic synchronicity?
Or the not-subliminal suggestion of the 4th meant riding the battlefield was apropos after the rain stopped later in the day.
Unfortunately, the upgrade ate the couple of pictures associated with the OP - not sure what happened there.
