i think this is just a matter of being a whhhhhimp. today i was at the CX ride 28* in knee warmers reg socks and reg shoes... then we rode CR (slightly warmer) and was still fine.

Ron "the butcher" C is like the only one to survive the beat downs. i've been on the board since '08 and just now i'm getting "the treatment" :getsome:

Dudeman definitely has a sense of humor. I give him that. I LOL'd for sure. But the delivery is a bit uncalled for. Yeah, we undoubtedly need to observe courteousness to all trail users. DHers, Unicyclists, Nerd herds, hikers...etc.
This conversation has been had a million times around here.

Generally, I'll exchange pleasantries with other trail users. "Hello", "Thank you", "Beutifull dog", "nice ass"...But not when huffing and puffing up a climb. Sometimes I need every breath I have. And depending on the climb, I need to stay focused on the trail. If I pass you on a tough climb, I'm likely not even going to make eye contact. Not because I'm being a dick, I'm just trying to make it up the hill.

Welcome to the forum. Most of us can easily forget about things like brash introductions like they never happened.

or maybe it's that my Sidi's are vented at the toe and we went through the water 15 minutes into the ride at 35 degrees :D

Pearl

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING
Mine are vented too and my feet got wet at the same water crossing 2days in a row...whimp.

im debating on when i need to purchase cleats for the lakes, because 28 degrees and my feet weren't that cold. the wool socks are still good at 28 degrees.
