6 Mile Run Conditions

Drove by the canal road lot at 2:30 after picking up a turkey. Only 2 cars in the lot

Retired life. Everyday is a Saturday.

I went for a hike there yesterday evening, it was wet and slimy.

It’s getting hammered for sure. Some report mud festival and others say it’s rad. Hard to say.

Got out at daybreak and did it all. It was getting wet and heavy by 9. Was done by 9:30.

On the trail at 8:45 off by 11:00 - @w_b and I heard a some rain hit the trees, and took the quick way back.
Had a bit of a shower on the way home - not crazy.

Solid base with lots of grip -

i'm looking at the radar, and upcoming temps - if it doesn't get rutted to hell, it could be ok for morning loops!

21F and the trails are glazed over. I don’t have studded tires that equals Exciting!! And foolish 🥴

Mostly or fully frozen in the early AM. Supposed to stay cold all day so anything in shade will remain frozen. If sunny, spots will soften in the late AM and PM.
