Conditions from 27 lot through orange are tacky with some wet spots.
that sounds reasonably promising for tomorrow - pre deluge...

looks like there might be a window until about 8pm until the real heavy stuff starts

thanks for the update!

Hero dirt with a few soft corners.
Ditto. I just finished doing a full loop. 99% AWESOMENESS! The Red Trail on the 27 side was surprisingly dry. The only real slop was on either side of the steel bridge on Blue. Almost all of the soft spots are easily avoidable. Side note: not to many people at the park today, but I did come across a group of kids on a group ride for a camp....it was great to see the next generation enjoying the trails :-D

Thank you all for the updates! Gonna hit it today around 3. Looks like it we won't get any rain until late tonight into tomorrow morning. Looking forward in crossing Middlebush car free!

Anyone know if it rained there this morning / last night? I was there yesterday and all was well with the exception of a few puddles I walked past. Looking to get another ride in but it rained pretty hard down where I am.

I'm a few miles away, it did rain last night into early this morning. It's gonna be wet today. But suns out now with a breeze. Tomorrow's gonna be sunny. Maybe tomorrow late afternoon it'll be good again. And forecast for the week looks good.

That group of kids was probably being escorted by @Robin Many of her pics in the 31/31 thread have the kids. So, I assume she works for or operates an MTB camp.

We were there Sunday, had to walk around 3 mud puddles from Canal Road to the Boardwalk. That should have dried out by now.

I assume today, Wednesday 8/2, is out? How much rain came through yesterday? I was out of town but the news showed strong storm damage around the tri-state area

I'm curious how it'll be this evening, we had a crazy big thunderstorm yesterday and I live fairly close (South River) to six mile. If anyone knows please post, sometimes this time of year six mile can be surprisingly dry, even too dry during the summer once all the trees are foliated. The rain came down hard and fast, maybe it didn't have a chance to soak into the clay and spoil things, hoping...

I may head over over lunch to ride Blue, White, Red as quick loop. It will be fairly obvious quickly if too muddy. If so I will turn around and report back

This was yesterday in Edison:

It rained just as hard at 6MR. I'd bet the trails are quite muddy.
