Bummer about the bike, good luck! I've got nothing useful to add, except for this:

You may want to list it on Pinkbike under the Stolen Bikes/Parts category.

I have the same bike just the 6 fattie version of it. Great bike. I'll keep my eyes open for you in my travels.

@terrabike01 Thanks for the suggestion. I just listed it. The dead give away that is my bike is a cut 1/3 of the seat drop lever off (it was rubbing my thumb raw).

Just seen on News 12 there is a rise in bike thefts occurring in Asbury Park. So, apparently there's someone or a group stealing all these bikes and maybe your bike is one of them. Hopefully, they will get caught and the bikes were stashed somewhere and recovered. It's becoming such a problem the police in Asbury Park are asking residents to register their bikes in case they get stolen and are recovered.

@terrabike01 thanks for the info. I went on Asbury Park website to get the police phone number and saw something similar. http://www.cityofasburypark.com/department/index.php?structureid=26
They realize they have a problem and I wonder what they are doing besides the bike registry? I saw the article below about an Oregon police department using GPS to track stolen bikes and catch thieves. I thought it was pretty cool.
