Follow up: I bought the F34 / 140 / 44 from @tonyride ’s Occam and swapped out the F34 / 130 / 51 that came on my T429v2.

To me the differences are very minor. The bike felt great before and maybe just a little more stable now. It doesn’t seem slower to turn or “less nimble.” It doesn’t seem more or less plush or harsh. I haven’t messed too much with pressures in the fork or tires but probably should.

I’m more of a set it and ride it person I guess. Also probably haven’t really pushed the limits on this very capable trail shredder much yet, either.

It’s all good for me. Yay bikes.
