My wheels are pretty shot. Looking for something inexpensive to keep it rolling.

Family budget bike, circa 2011? Surly Karate Monkey, steel is real weight is just your imagination hardtail.

Edit: 2014ish frame
100 15 TA front, 135 QR rear

Best I can do. Pretty sure it's 135qr

Edit: if it's QR rear then it's 135. Really the only thing it could be and the Stan's I had were definitely not boost.
Front is thru axle and should be 15x100

bump. mostly need a rear wheel - i took it off the bike and the wheel bearings are grinding and the splines are mangled and the spokes are musically dissonant. basically it's a horror show back there.

135 QR 29 disc geared hub rear wheel gimme

Are they sealed bearings or loose? If it's just a beater bike it might be easier to just clean everything up, tighten the spokes and put it back together. Mangled splines usually aren't the end of the world. Tap the raised part down and clean it up with a file or sandpaper.

Missed the ad post, if it still has the Stan's wheels on it then definitely worth a shot at just freshening those up. If you want to drop it in Flemington, I'll give it a shot.

If you get a chance, shoot me a picture of the rear hub label and any numbers on the hub.

thank you all very much! replacement postponed, service underway. huge thanks to @GSTim for answering some foundational questions for me to help me get started, and then sending me a link to the service manual for my hub. who knew that there was so much helpful information collected in a single document?!! incredible...
