Questions: 28T 1X Drop Stop Chain Ring, 4 Bolt, 104BCD 11 Speed - Does this Exist?? Is it even possible?

Not possible. BCD won't allow it.

30T requires either clearance the arms or spacing it out from the crank spider.

28T would get into the bolts.

Thought so. Have you guys played with Dub Cranks that have the ring and spider as one piece for 73mm BB, non boost? How are the bottom brackets? Durable? Seems like a pita to change rings?

If you are hard set on a replaceable ring, One Up makes the Switch system for newer style cranks.
This. I has, it works really well. Not as cheap as they claim it to be but it does work well and it's easier to swap the ring than a 104BCD spider (and can go 28T).

Maybe. Running 11spd, 30/11-42 now and my back seems to like that but tend not to use the whole cassette. Was thinking for bigger mtn riding 28/11-42 might be interesting and utilize more of the cassette. Not that interested in real man gears; would rather just have fun now that I am not trying to go fast anymore.
