So, what's on your gear list?
Some of my "must haves"

1. Bike Rags,..cause so many people forget the obvious
2. Duct Tape,...cause I can't live without it
3. BagBalm or equalent,...it IS a 24 hour event ya know.
4. Small bucket for water or what not,....be a good boyscout and Be Prepared
5. BIG garbage bags,..to put all your stuff in as its raining cats and dogs
6. Extra deraileur, quick link, tire (for side wall blowouts) and silicon spray
7. Can of Soup and instant mashpototoes (boil water, open can of soup, place can in boiling water, stir soup in can, remove can when hot, then add instant pototoes to boiling water,...easy cleanup,...Wonderful at 2 am!)
8. Flashlight and TP,..cause your need light to find the TP at 2:20 am
9. Black magic marker and address labels,....MARK all your possessions!!!
10. EAR PLUGS,...because I only have a 2 hours to sleep and I can still hear the RAIN!!!

My secret item on the never before published gear list is:
A bottle of Rain X and a bottle of Fog X. If you wear glasses of any sort Rain is critical.
Good night and have a pleasant 24 HOA, while I lounge on a beach some place on the Vineyard...

A camp chair and a bartender, fat laces, and warm riding gear because you never know if you'll be soaking wet and riding when it's 60 degrees.

motrin, magnesium, tortillas, corn chips, 4 changes of clothes, tent, tarp, pad, extra batteries for energi-to-go, list of excuses, jet pack to aid in climbing that cursed first hill yet again.

List of excuses - word!

Salty food. Lots of greasy salty bail-out food, especially if you sweat bullets like I do.

Clothes line for wet clothes.
Aleve for the pain and bruises.
A hot looking masseuse for those aching muscles. 😉

There are a couple guys from the shop riding, my GF and I. We are in the works of making arrangements for an RV to provide quaters for the troops.

absolutely essential food item:

Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies.

In good years I've eaten the entire box.
