JORBA: Morris Trails
JORBA.ORG
October. Time to start thinking/planning for the upcoming season. Bought the Ikon Base Pass this year and plan to do more snowboarding this season now that we are truly empty nesters. So far planning handful of VT trips, and several days with my son in Washington. Would love to tack on a Park City or Colorado trip too. Post up if you’ve come across any good deals, accommodation wise.

Nice! Been teaching my kids at the American dream mall all summer cant wait to get them on the real slopes this year. Planning a trip to pico and multiple trips to blue etc. I got some awesome labor day deals om new gear and got a new hard shell jacket new helmet new Goggles, new shell pants and new puffer for under the shell!

We intended to get to Pico last season, but we never made it.

Our first trip will probably be Tremblant around Xmas, as usual.

West trip - we're thinking maybe Big Sky/Jackson Hole 4/5-day trip. Still TBD.

East coast, I always like Sugarbush the most. Maybe we'll actually make it to some of the Poconos mountains this year during the week since we only have 1 kid in the house now.

I rent my Killington condo (3 Bedroom 2 bath) several times during the winter. (World Cup weekend and Christmas-New Years week are available)
You can check dates/prices on the rental company's website, but I would give you a substantially lower price if you book it directly through me (bypassing their absurd taxes and fees).

The development has it's own shuttle bus to the mountain or you could even walk to the Snowshed lodge in 15 minutes.

Got our Ikon passes already....hopefully joining @Norm and company @2Julianas for a western trip....also need to ski with @Wrong Way Dan and @Shaymoney this year...maybe @Id_rather_be_skiing too.

Also want to do another utah trip this year with the fam. Otherwise, suck it up and ski around here as much as possible getting bob his 10,000 hours.
Got my Gore pass and the Ikon. Anytime you wanna make turns let me know, if I can make it I'll be there!

I’ve got my Ski3 pass so far and still need to pull the trigger on Ikon. I’ll be skiing every weekend there’s snow this winter 👀

Perhaps an MT“Ski”NJ day? I’m up for weekdays if enough notice. Will be interesting to see what happens with Elk now that it’s been sold. Rumors are new lifts and snowmaking.

I own at Pinnacle too, you making the owners meeting on the 19th?

Post lots of pics of the ski season this year. I'm out until at least mid-march. Rotator Cuff surgery on 11/11.

Doc says I can ski after March 17th. Best time of the year!

Yeah, as much as my old ass can heal at this point. Was really a great a day at Pico.

Fifth season with an Ikon and looking forward to it!
when was a kid, we would hike up just after lifts closed with sleds and bomb down Pike from about halfway up. Looks pretty good for what looks to be later in the day!
