In an effort to get the word out about group rides I've out lined what we have planned for the remainder of the year. If you have any ideas, suggestions or places you would like to ride that we have not been getting to, please post up comments. Group rides are all about coming together and making all feel welcome, there is always a pace to accommodate all levels of riders, breaking down to sub groups allows for managing the best flow on a ride.
We like to get together 1x/month and ride, the weather does not always cooperate but we do the best we can. Finally we can always use help with the rides, if you are familiar with any of the parks below and would like to help please let me know if you can lead a group or sweep(bring up the rear).

I will be penciling in exact dates on some of the rides once I have confirmation from ride leaders.

June 29th - Nassau @jShort Beginner friendly trails with little elevation.

July 13th - 6-MIle @Magic Beginner friendly trails with little elevation.

August 23-25th - Cranks Around the Campfire. This is a great wknd event with camping, group rides, and activities for the whole family at Allamuchy. We will be there again this year supporting @DanBrodeen with leading rides. https://www.mtbnj.com/forum/threads...-the-campfire-mountain-biking-festival.46169/

September 7th - Allaire Schilling ride @Mitch , annual ride in memory of Chris Schilling, a great friend the mtb community lost several years ago.

September 29th - Jorba Bikefest at Ringwood Come join in the fun and support Jorba. This is a day of rides, food, bike demo's and socializing with great folks in the bike community. MTBNJ will be there to help lead rides and support Jorba. http://njmountainbikefestival.com/

November tbd - Wildcat @JimN . Intermediate/ advanced trails with some elevation and technical(rocky) trails.

December tbd - Hartshorne @rottin' Beginner/intermediate trails with a bit more elevation.

This Sunday the 29th, we will be helping out with Group Rides at Bikefest. This is a great event to meet fellow mtbers, socialize, ride, and rejoice in all things mountain bike.

There will be food, demos and great people. This is a Jorba Event, so come out and support the organization who supports us.

Event website here.

See everyone Sunday!
